Herschel Supply Co. was founded in 2009 by brothers Jamie and Lyndon Cormack, taking its name from the small town of Herschel in Saskatchewan, Canada, which inspired much of their childhood creativity and freedom. This place served as a muse to establish a brand that reflects these values.

Herschel places great importance on sustainable practices and environmental protection. Since 2024, nearly all Herschel bags are produced from recycled fabrics that are trademarked and GRS certified. EcoSystem™ fabrics form the foundation of the collections. They are made from recycled materials such as post-consumer PET bottles (soft fabrics) or recycled polycarbonate from old road barriers (hardshell fabrics). The journey toward sustainability is ongoing—Herschel Supply continuously works to reduce its ecological footprint and develop eco-friendly products.
